Christmas Fair at St Ninian’s Church
There will be a Christmas Fair at St. Ninian’s Church on Saturday 28 November from 12 noon to 3pm. Enter from St. John’s Road or St. Ninian’s Road.
Christmas Hampers – draws will be made at intervals throughout the Fair. Draw tickets will cost £1.
There will be stalls for Home Bakery and Jams, Crafts, Flower Arrangements, Baubles Bangles, Beads and Bags, Tombola, Books, DVDs, CDs, Puzzles and Stamps and Water or Wine.
You can enter a competition to identify Corstorphine Gates.
There will be activities for Children.
Music will be played in the Church. A donation may be made for a request.
Lunches will be served till 2pm followed by Afternoon Teas.
Admission will be £1 for adults and 50p for children.
Half the proceeds will go towards Church Fund half will be divided equally between four charities – Friends of Chernobyl Children, Corstorphine Dementia Project, Dog Aid Society and CLIC Sargeant Scotland – caring for children and young people with cancer and their families in hospital and in the community. (CLIC Sargeant was formed in 2005 by the merger of Sargeant Cancer Care for Children and CLIC which stands for Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood).

Corstorphine Christmas Tree Switch On
Come and join us on the village green beside Corstorphine Old Parish Church, Kirk Loan to welcome in the festive season with the lighting of the Corstorphine community Christmas tree and a visit from a special guest on his sleigh.
Wednesday 16th December 7.00 pm
Torchlight Parade and Carol Service
Meet at Dovecot Road entrance to St Margaret’s Park – bring your own torch and come festively dressed. Walk through the park to the beautiful Corstorphine Old Parish Church to join in singing your favourite Christmas carols.
Thursday 31st December 7.30pm -11.30pm
Corstorphine Family Ceilidh
Corstorphine Community Centre
Bring your family and join us at Corstorphine Community Centre, Kirk Loan for a community ceilidh to bring in the New Year. Tickets £15 per adults, £5 under 16 years (must be accompanied by a adult). Join us on the village green opposite the Community Centre, Kirk Loan for a giant Auld Lang Syne to the sounds of the pipes – everybody welcome
