Smith welcomes film crew from Craigmount High School to Parliament

Margaret Smith MSP for Edinburgh West today welcomed pupils from Craigmount High School to the Scottish Parliament. Six pupils from Craigmount High put the Parliament in the media spotlight as they filmed a news feature on how young people engage with Parliament, as part of the BBC Schools Report project.

Commenting after her interview, Smith said:

"It's always a pleasure to welcome young people to the Parliament. I was delighted to take part in today's filming and answer the challenging questions posed by the pupils from Craigmount High School.

"I hope that the pupils involved enjoyed their visit to the Parliament and that it has helped them to better understand what MSPs do."
