SMITH: HELP POLICE FIND JACK’S KILLERS

Margaret Smith, the MSP for Edinburgh West, has expressed her sadness and outrage at the recent death of 10 year old Jack Anderson in a hit-and-run in Saughton Road North.

Margaret said:

“I deplore this incident, and want to offer Jack’s family my deepest sympathies. To have such a young life cut short is a tragedy; and the manner in which those responsible drove away from the scene is despicable. With this in mind, I strongly urge all members of the public to co-operate with the enquiries of the Police, and to come forward if they have any information that may help. I have spoken to the local Chief Inspector about this tragic affair and I will do all I can to assist the police.“
