MSP is DJ for a day

On Saturday 5th August, Margaret Smith, MSP for Edinburgh West was able
to fulfil a life long dream and become a radio presenter when she was
invited to be a presenter on Jubilee FM. Margaret hosted “Margaret
at Midday” a two hour live programme.
Jubilee FM is Queensferry’s own radio station and it’s on
air during the Ferry Fair week (August 5th - 12th.)
Margaret was very pleased to be able to participate in the community
fair, she said “I was delighted to host my show, playing some
of my favourite tracks and talking to my guests, Campbell Gunn, political
editor of the Sunday Post and local comedienne Jo-Jo Sutherland. I’m
looking forward to the rest of the Fair week, including meeting up with
the Burry Man on Friday and attending the Crowning Ceremony on Saturday.
I hope the whole community, particularly the children, have a great
time.”
