Smith questions Lord Advocate over World’s End case

Following the collapse of the trial of Angus Sinclair in the so-called ‘World’s End’ case, the Lord Advocate Elish Angiolini has appeared before MSPs to make a statement about the circumstances surrounding the case and its implications. Following the statement, Edinburgh West MSP Margaret Smith questioned Ms Angiolini about the need for a public inquiry in relation to the this issue, and any changes she felt that the Scottish Government should make on the basis of her examination of the World’s End case.
