Congratulations to Beautiful Queensferry

Margaret Smith MSP has tabled a parliamentary motion congratulating Queensferry on being named ‘Best Neighbourhood’ in Beautiful Scotland’s ‘Keep Edinburgh Growing’ competition. The competition’s judges were very impressed by the cleanliness of Queensferry as well as the beautiful planting arrangements and wildlife. Queensferry was also praised for its many community–led projects and the way in which groups worked together for the benefit of the town

Commenting, Ms Smith said: “I am very proud of this achievement by the residents of Queensferry and pleased that their hard work and the natural beauty of Queensferry has been recognised on a national level. I hope that this award will encourage more people to visit the area, and more residents to get involved in community projects.”
