Margaret celebrates community pharmacy in Davidson’s Mains

Margaret Smith MSP officially opened the improved Pharmacy in Davidson’s Mains today. The new ‘Local Boots Pharmacy’ will continue to offer the vital community services as before but is modernised and provides better access to Pharmacists and a wider range of products.

Commenting, Margaret Smith MSP said:

“I was delighted to be asked to open the pharmacy today as I believe that community pharmacies are vital to Scotland’s health and wellbeing. It’s great that the local pharmacy in Davidson’s Mains is being improved whilst building on its history of excellent service to local people.

“Community pharmacists provide a range of valuable services as well as dispensing medicines such as healthy living and health promotion advice, and are well placed to help and advise those people who rarely visit their GP or see other health professionals. I’m sure the people of Davidson’s Mains will continue to benefit hugely from having this great service so close to home.”
